Hinds Feet In The Himalayas

"Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it." Isaiah 40:4-5

About Lauren Jackson

Life never ceases to amaze me. I could not be more thankful that the Lord has placed me right where He wants me – for such a time as this. It is such a blessing. Life never ceases to bring changes and challenges, but this one thing I know: the Lord is faithful through it all! I am a seeker of the Truth. Not religion, theology, or doctrine but the Truth, which is Christ Jesus. My desire is for every fiber of my being to be completely saturated with Him. To love Him, breathe Him, speak Him, live Him. If you’ve talked with me for any amount of time you probably know my passion for overseas missions. My desire is to one day be able to live not only serving and loving the people here in the United States, but across the world. This blog will allow you to follow me this summer while I’m at Anandaban Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. A very close family friend of mine, Dr. Deanna Hagge, moved to Nepal a little over 4 years ago to work with The Leprosy Mission (TLM). TLM is a worldwide partnership, active in over 50 countries, with a vision for a world without leprosy and a passion to eradicate the causes and consequences of leprosy. I am so excited to be able to love and learn from these beautiful people. Your prayers are greatly appreciated!
